Tsu-ten-kaku
This is a tower in Osaka called Tsu-ten-kaku. It is a symbol of Osaka and people there are proud of it. It is not as high as Tokyo Tower, but it is very unique. In Tsu-ten-kaku there is a statue called Bliliken. It is famous because it is believed that if people touch his foot, they will be richer. The word of the tower says HITACHI prasma television. Just an ad. Why don't you buy one for yourself?

The Horse Racing
Horse Racing is one of popular gambles in Japan. There are many horse racing tracks in Japan. Even Tokyo and Kyoto have ones. I am not sure if they are happy to run, but as long as I see from their running, they are beautiful when they run. This horse is named "Natural Make". Interesting eh??

The Lantern
We put a light inside of lantern made of paper. The letter said Ka Tou Jii which means Flower Light Street. As this name says, this has better flavor than the lights themselves. Once this lantern shines on the street, it has more Kyoto-ness.

Hiroshima
Today is the day when we had an atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima 63 years ago. I don't know why people can not still get peace in the world even though we know that we want it. What did we learn from wars in the history. We are still in a long way. Please visit Hiroshima, you may feel something. People are not born to fight but to live togheter.
This picture is "Ojizosama" a deity in Buddism. We will never forget you. Rest in Peace.

Shoes for Business

Japanese office workers always wear suits and leather shoes. We thought that style is most appropriate for business. You will find many people wearing suits even in summer time if you visit Japan. But please take a close look at their foot. You might find something different. That might be .......

Favorite Drink
Coke is very popular all over the world including Japan. But I prefer this. The name of this drink is Oronamin C. It is from Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. and has been famous since its launch of 1962. I have drunk too since little. This makes people "Genki Hatsuratsu" (Getting full of Power) as its TV commercial says.

Japanese Castle
This is a Japanese Castle in Matsumoto, central Japan. I think this castle is beautiful but what's more its reflection on the surface of the water makes it more beautiful. Buildings exist not only themselves but also in surroundings. It is listed as one of the 100 best castles in Japan and also a national treasure.
